Who was the better player Magic Johnson or Michael Jordan?

Wednesday 4 February 2009 @ 6:58 pm
Magic Johnson

The reason I ask this questions is because since both of there retirements you see many players that are similar to Jordan (Kobe, Mcgrady, and Lebron) high flying flashy scores. I sti have not seen a a similar players of Magic’s calibur ( 6’9 guard that can play all positions)

Really who was the better player?

BOSTON CELTICS: WATCH THEM WHERE THEY PLAY

Wednesday 4 February 2009 @ 10:19 am
by Matt Ryan

No ticket to Beantown is complete without picking up Boston Celtics tickets. Even if the game isn’t at home, the excitement of a NBA game can’t be felt by sitting at home on the couch. In addition, you never know when you may meet a hot date while waiting in line for that $10 pretzel. Don’t forget that there’s nothing like a packed stadium. It makes for a great basketball experience.

Currently, the players to watch are Ray Allen, Kevin Garnett, and Paul Pierce. Boston Celtics ticket holders come to watch them give their all every game. These guys lead their team to win after win with their scoring, rebounding and assists. They’ve got their eyes on the prize this year – looking forward to another NBA championship. You could say you watched them on their road to glory with your Boston Celtics tickets.

YOU NEED CELTICS tickets TO REALLY EXPERIENCE THE GAME

Boston Celtics tickets are not coveted merely by Celtics fans. Sure, the Celtics are the defending National NBA Champs, having beaten the Los Angeles Lakers in June, 2008. And sure, the Celtics have a great place to play and watch the games – their home, the TD Banknorth Garden. Celtics tickets are also sought by people who appreciate a good business and a franchise with such a history of success. In pre-season play this year, the Celtics haven’t quite found their zone yet. They lost their first game to the Philadelphia 76ers by 6 points. But pre-season is the time to work out the kinks, and the loss has done nothing more than make the Celtics more determined than ever to play hard, and defend their title.

The Boston Celtics are this season’s clear favorite. They’re the NBA franchise with the most championships to date. They’ve made trades with the Minnesota Timberwolves for Kevin Garnett, and with the Seattle Supersonics for Ray Allen from the 07-08 season. It would appear they have another winning combination. The Celtics have Ray Allen as both shooting guard and captain. Ray alone is reason enough to buy a ticket to the game. Combine Ray Allen with power forward Kevin Garnett and small forward Paul Pierce, and they’re a force to be reckoned with. You’d better buy a ticket now, because they’ve got the right dynamic, and they’ll only get more and more popular.

During the 2007-2008 season, the Boston Celtics were able to beat out their rivals the Detroit Pistons, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Lakers. Those games would have been great to see up close if you had Boston Celtics tickets. Why not get Boston Celtics tickets for the next season?

BOSTON CELTICS tickets: WATCH THEM DEFEND THEIR TITLE

Picture yourself with a Celtics ticket in hand, as you approach the Garden and give your ticket to the taker. Celtic green is everywhere. And you haven’t blown your retirement savings just to get to that point. There are many ways one can purchase a discount Boston Celtics ticket. There are several online options including official websites and a helpful Celtic online community. One can also obtain a discounted ticket through a broker. This is the year to see Doc Rivers and the team bring another championship home. The Boston Celtics, representing the Eastern Conference, Atlantic Division of the NBA, are defending their 17th World Championship this season, promising their ticket holders tons of excitement and victories along the way.

Celtics ticket holders since 1946 have been able to celebrate championships with the team. Celtics teams have had some of the greatest names in basketball history, including Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Bob Cousy and Bill Russell. The pressure may be on for the team and the coaches to win a championship again, but the pressure is on for you as well. You have to get yourself some tickets in order to celebrate with the true champions, and have a chance to be a part of history.

Even if you don’t live in Boston, travel to Boston to get a ticket to a game. You just catch a train at the nearby North Station, and have it take you directly to the TD Banknorth Garden (formerly known as the Fleet Center). You simply have to experience this storied and talented team in person, and join in the cheers (and sometimes the taunts) with the rest of nearly 19,000 fans. Your ticket to the game won’t cost you a fortune, either. There are plenty of seats available in different locations that go for less than $50 a ticket. When one considers all of these reasons to watch the Boston Celtics play their game, one must also wonder, what are you waiting for? Go get your tickets to the best show in town – go get your Boston Celtics tickets today!

How can we help to contribute sportsmanship in girls’ basketball?

Tuesday 3 February 2009 @ 1:36 pm
basketball

So far this season, practically every single team that my team has played has been extremely rude. Many of them swear and push at us. How can the audience, the teams, the coaches, and the officials help make girls’ basketball a clean sport?

How has Magic Johnson being able to live for the past 17 years with hiv, and for it to not progress to?

Monday 2 February 2009 @ 11:14 am
Magic Johnson

aids? I know he has tons of money and can afford great health care. But 17 years, wow, that’s a long time. When he first contracted hiv, everyone thought it would be a death sentence, but he seems to be living normally. He’s 48 now. Has the hiv gone away in his body or something?
