Lets face it that one game where Magic “Stood up” without wilt was the one where they chose the MVP. Kareem got robbed on that one
Magic Johnson runs a diversity program for NASCAR. He also does redevelopment for the urban communities. I think he should form a racing team, like for NASCAR, Indy Racing League, and Champ Car Racing. The team would consist a diversity of auto racers and it can change the scenery of the sport. Lewis Hamilton, a British, who’s black, and races in Formula 1, has already layout the foundation to for more diverse auto racers to compete in a variety of motor sports. I hope I see more diverse drivers in NASCAR, Indy, and Champ Car Racing in the coming years. If you agree that Magic Johnson should form a racing team, please respond and if it would change the course of the motor sport. I think he should so the motor sports can be diverse and open to people of different color and nationalities.
He’s so underrated. If LeBron James is the face of our franchise, Big Z is the heart.
What are his chances? He’s a quality big man from the East.
Do you think if he got to play with Drexler in Portland he could’ve won a championship?
Also do you think Sabonis is one of the top 10 centers to ever play the game of basketball ?
JR
what do you think about the second answerer’s argument
Sabonis would’ve been a top 10 center if he hadn’t lost all his mobility while being playing in Europe…he was after all the best player in Europe in the 80s and early 90s
Do you think if he was on that hot streak with the Blazers in that time period, they would’ve won at least one ring?
Would he then at least enter the top 10 center discussion?
You gotta check out this guy on youtube and lemme know how he was in the 80s…
Natali Zee
Duncan goes as a Power Forward
Guys what about Wes Unseld…does he belong in the top 10 centers liste?
I heard that and1 is over in 2009 and they wont be anymore mixtapes or shows and what happened to ball 4 real a tour where the ex and1 players played at
I mean all these guys party in the same circles with the same hos. There must be a ton of present and former players walking around with HIV.
Magic Johnson would be the best NBA commissioner EVER.
Yes, I know I asked this about MJ a while ago, but I thought about it a bit and now I don’t think that would be a good idea.
I saw someone on my other question say that Magic should be it. The moment I read that, I thought to myself, “Genius!” Magic would be perfect for that job.
Ahmad Rashad would do a good job as well. But Magic would be the best.
What do you think?
We are helping decorate a young boy’s room for Habitat for Humanity and he loves the Chicago Bulls. We are interested in getting some jerseys with the more famous Bulls names on them but we don’t know who that would be (besides Jordan of course). Can anyone help name some of the more famous Bulls players?
Vince Carter is one of those basketball players who can easily get the crowds into frenzy in game. He is adept at performing slam dunks and nobody can forget his year 2000 slam dunks at the Olympics and the NBA contest.
Year 2000 was definitely by far the best for Vince Carter. He was at his best in the dunk of death slam dunk at the 2000 Olympics.
While doing this dunk he flew over the 72 French center Frederic Weis. He literally took off with the ball with legs spread mid air and hit Weiss head to avoid the collision. The French media named that dunk as le dunk de la mort or the the Dunk of death
This is not all that he could do. In the year 2000 NBA slam dunk contest he showcased his slam dunks which have now become famous and these are 360 degree windmill, between the legs bounce and an elbow in the rim dunks. His elbow in the rim dunk is also known as the Honey Dip or the cookie jar dunk
He has several records to his credit for the NBA playoffs. Guess what is his record for most three point filed goals in one half? The number is eight and it is a NBA record.
He attributed his dunks to his athletic abilities and the passion for the game.
He started playing basketball at the young age of two. His idol on the field at that time was Julius Erving.
Daytona Beach, Florida is an area where basketball culture has spread its tentacles. Vince Carter was influenced by it for sure. The basketball played there was free for all with a lot of slam dunks performed in the games.
That said it is not that tough to learn to play basketball as well as perform some of the slam dunks which Vince Carter does so easily. The main thing here is to have the passion for the game. If you really want to learn basketball then there are a lot of guides and free email courses available on the internet.
A good neighborhood basketball culture has its own benefits, no doubt.
