Can a player who has never played in the NBA join a team via free agency or does he have to enter the draft?

For example:

John has been playing in Europe, and plays for one of the top Euroleague teams (e.g. Barcelona, Olympiakos etc). He is one of the best players in the Euroleague, and has been an MVP there before.

John decides that he wants to play in the NBA, and is projected to be a top pick in the draft. However, he knows that if he enters the draft, he is likely to be picked by a bad team (e.g. Oklahoma City, Memphis) and doesn’t want this. John has never played in the NBA or entered the NBA draft before.

John knows that the Cleveland Cavaliers want him on their team. Can he simply choose not to enter the draft, then sign with Cleveland as a free agent?

I just got excepted to tryout for the #1 pro basketball league in Mexico, I’m a married father of 3.Within the last few weeks I have put about 1,500 dollars into my two cars that broke down. This is a very big oppurtunityfor me I’m a 6’4ht 232 pds smallforward that can jump 44inches, there is nothing that I can’t do on the court. I’m 28, and my window is closing this could be my best chance to make it, I just need some help getting there. Last year I was watching the NBA finals and I can’t stand the LA Lakers and I noticed that the refs would call fouls for the Lakers but not the other team a lot of times. The away team would get hacked and wouldn’t get the foul and then LA would get a lesser foul and they would call it. It seems like they are paid off or more partial.

There is a video on youtube on that someone on a fastbreak dunk and the lakers are getting back on defense. Kobe is running and he falls down and then slides like a swan.

It is not the video of Kobe acting like Michael Jordan.

Does anyone know the video, or can some one find it.
