Could he have been one of the greatest centers ever to play in the nba if he came to the United States during his prime instead of his late years???
Read this and then tell me..
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arvydas_Sabonis
How do you think his career would’ve panned out in the NBA during the late 80s and early 90s playing with the Trail Blazers
how do you think the blazers would’ve done with him in the early to mid 90s
Played for the Portland Trail Blazers. I found out about him on Youtube, there were a lot of comments saying if he had gone on to the NBA earlier in his career he would have been one of the 50 greatest NBA players, and maybe even a top 5 center. What do you think?
Some good choices might be Steve Nash, Manu Ginobili, Arvydas Sabonis, Sarunas Marciulionis, Vlade Divac, Dikembe Mutombo, or Manute Bol
Do you think if he got to play with Drexler in Portland he could’ve won a championship?
Also do you think Sabonis is one of the top 10 centers to ever play the game of basketball ?
JR
what do you think about the second answerer’s argument
Sabonis would’ve been a top 10 center if he hadn’t lost all his mobility while being playing in Europe…he was after all the best player in Europe in the 80s and early 90s
Do you think if he was on that hot streak with the Blazers in that time period, they would’ve won at least one ring?
Would he then at least enter the top 10 center discussion?
You gotta check out this guy on youtube and lemme know how he was in the 80s…
Natali Zee
Duncan goes as a Power Forward
Guys what about Wes Unseld…does he belong in the top 10 centers liste?
Once again all players are in their prime.
*Sabonis was a very good center. I think if he played in the NBA during his prime, he would of been one of the greatest centers.
Look at his nba numbers.
ok i wat do you think about Lithuanian basketball in all the world
