Should the Lakers trade for a better point guard next year, or is Derek Fisher a sufficient floor general?

Get rid of Luke Walton, Derek Fisher, and Sasha Vujacic. Keep Odom, Bynum, and Gasol. Who needs to go on the Lakers?

How big of a difference will Derek Fisher be now that he is back in tha Lakers?

Which best Lakers seasons’ 2008 current or 1998 or 1988? Agree? 2008 looks better much than 1998 for Lakers?

Hello, I’m Laker fan. My answer is Lakers’ best season current 2008 than 1998 also 1988 is greater than 1998.

Lakers’ season 1988 Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul Jabber, James Worthy, Michael Copper, and Byron Scott looked great Lakers team win 1988 championship.

Lakers’ season 1998 Shaquille O’Neal, young Kobe Bryant, Eddie Jones, and Nick Van Exel. I love to watch Lakers but I was not happy that I believed in Jazz looked better than Lakers because Lakers had lack of energy so Utah Jazz swept over Lakers on Final Western Conference.

Lakers’ season 2008 Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol, Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, and other great bench players as Big Machine. Phil Jackson is great head coach for triangle offense. Lakers will good chance to win 2008 champions. I love this! I like Lakers’ 2008 than 1998. also I like classic Lakers 1988 Magic Johnson and legendary than 1998 too.
I just like to compare years Lakers current 2008. 10 years ago to 1998.
20 years ago to 1988. You told me that want to put 2000, 2001, 2002. I know 2000-02 looks great for Lakers champions.

who can stop this team, they will guarantee win 65 or more games this season.
starting
pg- derek fisher
sg- kobe bryant
sf- lamar odom
pf- pau gasol
c- andrew bynum
bench
jordan farmar
luke walton
vlad rad
dj m
trevor ariza
coby karl
sasha vujacic

every team will have a hard time beating us.phil jackson will lead the lakers to beasty victory this year. kobe is going to win a mvp title and will have another championship. as a matter of fact i think our bench our bench could probably okc thunder or the grizzlies in a game. does anybody disagree with this question and if you do tell why.

Who is the most valuable player on the Lakers, Pau Gasol or Derek Fisher?

RC Dude is right – Derek Fisher doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He’s one of the most underrated players in the game’s history.

Should Lakers keep Derek Fisher as starting Point Guard?

I mean let’s face it…Dude is aging. Dont get me wrong D. Fisher was always one of my favorite players, and always a key component in us making playoffs/finals. But lately I’ve been noticing his shot % decreasing, and i rememebr SOME, (not all) games during the playoffs where he would make like 2-4 points a game. Now on the other hand, he got guards up the wazoo on the bench. Young guards with a lot of potential. Guys like Jordan Farmar. When that guy comes in, he has the abaility to really take over a game. I’m sure you’ve seen it. But he’s still young. If we put fisher on the bench, start Farmar, it’ll give him a chance to work on honing his skills. I mean if he averaged about 10 points in 20 minutes last season, give him about 35-40 minutes this season, after training and he can probably double those numbers. We should also put in Sun Yue, never seen him in NBA, but the guy had some mad skill in the Olympics. So what do you guys say??
JACK i completely agree with you man, but what about when Fisher retires in about 2-3 years, and neither Farmar or Sun Yue has had the experience, to, in one season, go from 15-20 min a game to a drastic amount more, and still be ready?? Thats why im saying if we do it right now, they can at least gain their experience with those extra minutes. They can come in handy, and will probably be MUCH better player when D Fisher retires in a few years.

could Magic Johnson still earn a roster spot on the Lakers if he wanted to come back for one more year?

sure, he’s almost 50 years old but I would still trust him to bring the ball down the floor… would you?

in other words, could he back up Derek Fisher (for example) if he wanted to play for one more year?

if you are a hater, don’t bother answering the question!
