Love him or hate him, Kobe Bryant has done so many accomplishments throughout his basketball career. While he may not reach what Michael Jordan did, Kobe Bryant may certainly be put into the discussion as the 2nd greatest player to ever play the game by the time his career is over. What do you think? Honest answers please, don’t just say no just because you hate the guy. Explain why or why not.

Kobe is amazing; he still hasn’t reached his peak.

Do you think Kobe Bryant can tie or pass Michael Jordan with the number of rings? Michael Jordan has 6 rings, meanwhile Kobe Bryant has 4, so how many more Championships, or rings will Kobe get when his career in the NBA is done?
I’m sure without a doubt the Lakers will win it all again this year.

I saw in Wikipedia that Kobe surpassed Michael Jordan’s record of points scored. One month later, it said that Kobe supassed Bernard King, not Jordan.

Now that Kobe has 4 rings, I think he is close to Jordan. I think if he wins 6 rings total, he can be considered as good as Jordan. Stats are one thing, but skill is another.

Both played in different time periods during Jordan’s era. Teams were way better defensively and they played a lot rougher it is proven fact. However, during Kobe’s era (now) it is mostly about offense (some teams like the Pistons still follow the defense wins game tradition). So what do you think?
Not really, MC (Lakers 31-8) I am pointing out that you cannot because of the time periods they played in I don’t think you understand the point I am trying to make.

Jordan was good enough to get 6 out of 6 appearances. Kobe have 0 out of 5 appearances.

How is that close or even good as Jordan? A player (Magic, Kareem, Shaq, & etc.) that’s close to Jordan’s level should at least have 2 or 3 Finals MVPs in many Finals appearances.

I was really little when MJ was doing his thing in the 90′s, but I know he was a great shooter. Kobe Bryant is undoubtebly the best jump shooter of his generation. Any opinions???
