NBA ? The San Antonio Spurs in a brilliant start

The San Antonio Spurs are experiencing one of their best starts ever. At 17-3, the Spurs are first in the Southwest Conference, and as of press time, they hold the best record in the Nation. With a winning percentage of .850, the Spurs have had a stronger start than the National Title contender, Boston Celtics, at 16-4 and a .800 winning percentage, and the Defending Champions the LA Lakers, that have recorded 14 wins and 6 defeats so far this season. But is this early success from the San Antonio Spurs legit? It’s a bit hard to say. Tony Parker, despite his personal problems and the filling of his divorce with tv-star Eva Longoria, has been quite fantastic in the Spurs last games.

As a matter of fact, Parker was responsible for 19 points in the Spurs 109-84 bashing of the New Orleans Hornets on Sunday. Their almost perfect record is not really fair to the fact that the Spurs are one heck of a fighting team. Their success so far this season

Would Allen Iverson be good on the Spurs next year?

Do you think Allen Iverson would be good on the Spurs?

He could play starting SG since Ginobili is a 6th man, and can fill the offensive void that the normal Michael Finley creates. Also, he could add speed to the Spurs’ aging way of playing. Plus, he has a far more greater chance of winning the championship he deserves.

What do you think?

How could Jazz fans be so insensitive to Derek Fisher?

Friday 19 June 2009 @ 11:54 pm

How could Jazz fans boo Derek Fisher after he helped them in that game last year when he flew from New York and played right after his daughter’s surgery? His daughter was sick! Robert Horry left the Lakers and signed with the Spurs because he wanted to be closer to his family in Houston because his daughter is also very sick, but Laker fans never boo him when he plays against the Lakers, in fact they all cheer. Does anyone else think the Jazz fans are being disrespectful to someone who did his best to help his team when he played there?

Will now with Pau Gasol, will the Lakers finally become a threat in the West?

Friday 19 June 2009 @ 4:21 am

Take a look at their roster, a veteran guard fisher, an explosive scorer bryant, a versatile forward odom, a good new acquired PF gasol and a young dominanat center bynum even if he is still injured they have their supporting cast. Will they beat powerhouses like the Spurs, the Suns or the Mavs in the Western Conference?

IF Lakers win the champions this year what will everyone say?

Sunday 14 June 2009 @ 2:46 am
lakers champions

Besides Lakers and Celts will meet in finals or Lakers and Cavs we will win either way. No other team has even as close as Lakers or Celts so these are the only 2 actualy good teams in nba. Then comes in Bulls, Spurs, Pistons no one else really.

Spurs Or The lakers which 1 do u think is going to the final?

Sunday 14 June 2009 @ 1:18 am

I Choose the Lakers, yes i know the spurs is the defending champion but let’s face it before they took over the Lakers were in top and i honestly believe that we have the squad to go all the way.

Is Derek Fisher a good luck charm to teams in the NBA?

Saturday 13 June 2009 @ 11:07 pm
lakers fisher

When he went with Lakers, they won 3 rings in a row and even the famous 0.4 second shot against the Spurs that made them go back to the Finals. After a short stint with the Warriors, the team became a playoff team and made history by defeating Dallas in the first round. In Utah, the team became an elite team in the West. And back with the Lakers, they’re the best team in the West for 2 straight seasons. Convincing isn’t it?

Do you think the Lakers would have won more championships had Derek Fisher not left in the first place?

Tuesday 9 June 2009 @ 8:57 am
lakers fisher

He left the Lakers in 04, the year when they beat the Spurs. From 05-07, the Lakers didn’t go anywhere. Now he’s back and they beat the Spurs en route to the Finals.

Is he another Ron Harper?
